Saint Etienne Quote
When How We Used To Live was released we did a short tour of screenings and q&a's in cinemas across the UK. The audiences weren't just Saint Etienne fans so we'd be sat at the back nervously trying to gauge how well it was being received. When people laughed in the right places we started to relax a bit and we had some great chats with audience members and cinema staff afterwards. We also did several screenings with a live soundtrack, which were a real emotional rollercoaster ride, very different to a normal Saint Et gig. I felt very proud (and terrified) to perform it at the Dome in Brighton, where I live, to a home crowd.
