2007 is almost done. Just want to wish you all Happy Holidays from SaintEtienneDisco. I'm guessing everyone is excited about Boxette at this point. I will be adding the product to the website as soon as I get my copy in the mail. I finished up this year by doing some major editing to the EP section. Alot more pictures have been added. Heavenly Records have issued the new 7 Inch single This is Tomorrow with issue #25 of The Illustrated Ape magazine, "The Heavenly Issue". Limited edition, 2000 copies. First off I would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and happy holidays from SAINTETIENNEDISCO.COM.
The band had a special Christmas party/dj/concert event at the Turntable Cafe at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on London's South Bank Centre on the 21st of December where they handed out, to the lucky ones in attendance, a 2 track CDEP containing the new tracks 21st Century Christmas (an awesome cover of the Cliff Richard Christmas hit!) and Through the Winter. The details for this new CD have been added to the fanclub section of this website.

Update on the Sarah Cracknell/Mark Almond update duet called I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten (A Dusty Springfield cover). The track will appear on Marc Almond's new CD called Stardom Road and will be released in the new year.

Okay...its been awhile since I updated the site....Saint Etienne have rumoured another fanclub CD will soon be available through the website and will be the soundtrack to their movie Mervyn Day. You can actually get a sneak peak at one of the songs off the soundtrack on their Myspace site. It is called Sugarhouse Lane and is a breezy instrumental. |

Saint Etienne have issued a fanclub only CD called Nice Price in limited quantity (3000). The CD is a collection of previously unreleased demos and alternate versions of well known Saint Etienne songs with suitably 'nice' artwork by Paul Kelly and 'Behind the Music' insights from Bob and Pete. To obtain the CD you must be a fanclub member and the CD can be purchased through the merchandise section of the official website. Happy New Year 2006. Whats in Store from the Etienne crew in the new year? Well we have the North American release of Tales From The Turnpike House which will have 2 new songs originally not available on the UK version called Oh My and Dream Lover. I'm not quite sure what the chances are of a 3rd UK single release after the latest Sanctuary debacle which had the Etienne's Good Thing single ending up charting at number 70 in the UK. Bob has compiled a new CD called early morning hush and I'll post details as soon as possible. Saint Etienne is also on a mini USA tour(No Canadian date as of yet). |
